At Least 31 Killed in Suicide Attack Outside Islamabad Mosque
A concerning news is coming straight from Pakistan, where at least 31 people have been killed in a suicide bomber attack on Friday in Islamabad. The incident took place near the mosque gate when people were offering Friday prayers. According to the authorities, the attacker approached the mosque and started randomly firing at the mosque before detonating a bomb at the mosque gate, causing immense chaos and casualties. The Pakistani Prime Minister condemned the attack and accused India and Afghanistan of being responsible for this incident. However, the Indian foreign ministry condemned the attack and sent deep condolences for the loss of lives while calling the allegations baseless. The attack took place at the time, when the country is going through rising violence across provinces of Pakistan especially in Balochistan.
